Mab Cardoso is a Brazilian artist, choreographer, and dance researcher based in Germany since 2012. Her work explores the intersections of dance, choreography, music and technology. The multimedia approach allows her to explore new dimensions within the realm of dance, creating experimental and immersive experiences for audiences.  Furthermore, her solo works, Maria Augusta Bárbara (2008) Doris (2014) NOW*** for real (2016) PULSATIONS (2017) are directly related to the idea of exploring subjectivities of the female body and the power of its presence located on its multitude.

Throughout the years, Mab has performed on prestigious stages across the globe, such as Matadero in Madrid, Sophiensaele in Berlin,  Kampnagel in Hamburg, Dancehouse Lefkosia in Cyprus and SESC Santos and SESC Ipiranga in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was a resident of the programLimited Edition at K3 Tanzplan Hamburg in Kampnagel 2017.

Mab has a master's degree in Performance Studies from the University of Hamburg in Germany and a degree in Contemporary Dance studies from the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil. Mab possesses a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of her craft. Thourgout the year, she has received grants and support from esteemed institutions including Kultur Stiftung, Kultur und Medien Hamburg, Fond Darstellende Kunst, FUNARTE, Minister of culture in Brazil.
